Reservations: In order to ensure that we can accommodate your rental needs and account for shipping time, we recommend that you make your reservation at least five (5) business days in advance of your trip start date. When your reservation is confirmed, you will receive email confirmation, and your credit card or PayPal account will be charged for the cost of the full rental period you reserved. If the requested dates are not available, you will be notified by email and no charges will be made. Reservations must be made with either a credit card or verified PayPal account.
Reservation Guarantee: We fully inspect all of our equipment for cleanliness, damage, and proper operation. Please inspect your equipment upon delivery and notify us immediately of any problems so that we can resolve any issues. If you experience an issue with any of your equipment during your rental period that is not a result of misuse and we are unable to replace the gear in a timely manner, we will refund a portion of your total scheduled reservation. WEPAK OUTDOORS has the sole authority and discretion to issue any refund amounts. Refund of your reservation order is the full and total extent of our liability for use of our services and equipment.
Cleaning: All equipment items are professionally cleaned and checked upon return from reservation orders. All of the equipment for every reservation is delivered in clean, ready to use condition. Although some of the items may show signs of minor wear, all of the equipment is tested to perform as intended. If any of the equipment becomes wet or damp during use, please take appropriate action to dry the items and hang or store them in a dry area to prevent more serious damage.
Liability: THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES AND UNDERSTANDS THAT THERE ARE INHERENT DANGERS AND RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HIKING, BACKPACKING, ROCK CLIMBING, KAYAKING, BIKING, CAMPING, OR ANY OTHER ACTIVITY UNDERTAKEN BY THE USER, INCLUDING SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. The user agrees that WEPAK OUTDOORS cannot be held liable or responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses suffered by the user while using the items and equipment provided by WEPAK OUTDOORS and agrees to hold harmless WEPAK OUTDOORS, as well as any and all of its employees.
Cancellation: When you make a reservation we are setting aside WEPAKs for you and may have to deny other reservations. If your scheduled plans change please cancel your reservation as soon as possible by emailing WEPAK OUTDOORS with a cancellation request. To receive a full refund of your reservation order, you must notify us at least 7 full days before your scheduled delivery day. Cancellations made after the reservation order has shipped out cannot be refunded and will be charged the entire scheduled reservation.
Damaged Gear: You are responsible for equipment returned with damages in excess of normal wear and tear. Examples of such damages include but are not limited to punctures, tears, stains, or missing components. Normal wear and tear shall include minor scrapes, abrasions, or evidence of use consistent with responsible use of the rental gear. If you return damaged gear you will only be charged for the cost of repairs. IN THE EVENT OF DESTRUCTION, LOSS OR THEFT OF YOUR RENTED EQUIPMENT, YOU AGREE THAT WE MAY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, PAYPAL, OR OTHER PAYMENT SOURCE THE MANUFACTURER’S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE OF THE ITEM. It is neither our desire, nor our policy to seek to charge you for damages and only deliberate or excessive abuse of our gear will result in damage fees.
Security Deposit: You will not be charged a security deposit, however, IN THE EVENT OF DESTRUCTION, LOSS, OR THEFT OF YOUR EQUIPMENT ITEMS, YOU AGREE THAT WEPAK OUTDOORS MAY CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, PAYPAL, OR OTHER PAYMENT SOURCE THE MANUFACTURER’S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICES OF THE ITEMS NOT RETURNED OR DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR.
Disputes: All legal disputes and lawsuits must be filed in a court of appropriate jurisdiction located within Fulton County, Georgia applying the laws of Georgia State. Customers agree to waive the defense of forum non conveniens.
